Who is a Lead Auditor?
Lead auditor is a senior level auditor who usually will have a strong grasp on the auditing techniques and the relevant management standard clauses. A lead auditor course is usually offered after undergoing the internal auditor training with sufficient experience in actual auditing for a particular management standard

Roles of a Lead Auditor

As the name indicates, a lead auditor is expected to lead a audit, most oftenly with a group of supporting auditors. He looks after all the requirements and planning for an audit. He divides the audit responsibilites among the team after analyzing the requirements of the scope and other relevant factors. The final audit report is reviewed and approved by the lead auditor before it is presented to the interested parties.

About Lead Auditor Training

Lead auditor training is a 5 days course designed to equip the delegates with all the skills and techniques of auditing and communicating the findings of the audit effectively to the management of the audited orgainzation. All the skills and requirements to perform a third party audit are included in this course along with various exercises, role plays and explaining with case studies.
